As the weather turns chilly and the days are getting shorter, cold and flu season sneaks up fast. Now is the time to strengthen your immune system before the sniffles begin.
The key is prevention support, so it can fight off what’s going around.
Start with good daily habits: Wash your hands often, stay hydrated, and get enough rest. Your immune system works best when not rundown and dehydrated.
Keep your diet full of colorful fruits and veggies and herbs …your body needs those vitamins and minerals to stay ready.
Ginger and Turmeric: These two powerhouse help fight inflammation and boost your immune response. Sip them has tea or take them in tonic form.
Elderberry Syrup: Known for fighting virus, elderberry helps shorten the length of colds and eases symptoms.
Vitamin C and Zinc: Add these nutrients with foods like citrus, bell peppers, pumpkin seeds, or quality supplements.
Eucalyptus or Peppermint oils: A few drops in a diffuser or a steam bowl can open your airways sand help you breathe easier.
